"The Sisters"
These three ladies were raised mainly in Seattle, Washington by hardworking parents. Joel and Lydia Scott, who were of great moral character. They had strong values such as integrity, honesty and self-worth. They taught the girls how to hold "their own". Joel, although he was their stepfather, he engrafted the three little women into his family with open arms.
The family settled into a predominately black neighborhood called the Central District. They acquired several properties, rehabbing them on their own, together.
The girls went to school in the same neighborhood, and all three graduated from Garfield Highschool.
